More Party Bugs!

After making more attendees for Halfland's Bug Party, a large extra crystal bead spontaneously turned into a Honeypot ant , similar to the ones shown above. They're looking soiree-ready with tiny flowers festively adorning their antennae. She's wearing matching yellow slippers and sipping nectar from her flower cup. W00t! These Quick Bugs are made without plan or thought, just grabbing whatever is nearby and wiring it together, wings cut from vellum, legs and body filled out using matte medium and wood glue. Body painted and flocked with tiny fiber hairs. Botanical bits taken off a dried palm flower stalk were added over her dimensional eyes (seen in second from left) to make the bug look more silly, rather than creepy real. That's true for all 50 Bug Party Guests. It's just fun, not uncanny. This scene is meant to nod to Starevich's  charming early stop-motion work,  perhaps with a bit less real bug ick.
